PLEASE TELL US WHAT YOU ARE SHOOTING & HOW WE CAN ALL SHARE:

 

We ask that you post IN THIS TOPIC YOU ARE READING to tell us what you are shooting on the this trip...  and to answer the following questions we need to know to help everyone be fully supported in their picture taking endeavors but to also ensure that everyone gets to see the great pics our members take and even let us know if you'll be a model for us!

 

1. Are you taking pictures on land and/or of the group? If so with what? (cellular phone, SLR, point & shoot separate from my camera, go pro/paralenz or similar or other...please explain) 
2. Are you taking pictures underwater? If so with what? (cellular phone, SLR, point & shoot separate from my camera, go pro/paralenz or similar or other...please explain) 
3. Are you mostly shooting macro? 
4. Are you mostly shooting angle?
5. Are you mostly doing video? 
6. Would you be willing to be a guest photo admin on our social media pages and share your pictures as if SingleDivers.com was posting them for everyone to see? (This helps to keep the club alive and surviving and ultimately thriving!)  HERE is the FACEBOOK TRIP GALLERY.  NOTE:  We need to set you up as an admin to help us with this...you too will 'have the power'.
7. Would you be willing to share the Official Trip Photo album HERE to your social media pages to help share the love aka give SingleDivers.com more exposure?
8. Would you be willing to upload your pictures to our smugmug gallery HERE...TBA for others to see and save? (We need and want all pictures possible from cell phones to big rig cameras...) 
9. Are you willing to be a model for people like the Wench aka WreckWench to take pictures of? (Or some of our other underwater photographers), 
10. Are you willing to be a spotter and help find cool critters to take pictures of?

Kathryn I may be able to provide some insight once we are on the boat, given my experience with the GoPro 9. If you do not yet have a red filter that fits your underwater housing, try the Backscatter website and see if they offer overnight shipping. See you soon!

Purple Drifter -- I've got a backscatter filter set that I probably wont use. It's for the 11 so I'm not sure if it fits the 8, but you're welcome to try it out.

 

GoPro 11. Mostly video and a few frame grabs. Might do some quick edits on the boat. Happy to share by way of USB if there's time/interest.

 

Would love to have more pics that I'm in as long as I don't have to 'pose' - I'm generally not one for looking at the camera.

 

I'll put photos/viedos on smugmug. If I remember right, it has better photo resolution/quality options than facebook.

Thank you Rebecca... yes Smugmug is better resolution BUT FB gives us CRITICAL exposure and generates enthusiasm and fun for the group. Its also our ONLY form of advertising... so we hope people put pics in both places!!!

If the filter does not fit her GP 8 I am pretty sure it will fit my GP 9, I would like to be on the Wait List please. ;-)

I am happy to help with this, I am also just shooting video and ripping frames but doggone it this GP 8 renders some very nice images this way.
