Hello
I'm new to this site and its forums but am already booked for my first trip (Cozumel, February 2024). Woo Hoo!
I've been living in Scottsdale. AZ since retiring 3 years ago. Before that I lived in the Washington, DC area for just short of 40 years. I've been diving since 1982 and fairly regularly since 2013. I have advanced open-water and enriched air certifications from PADI and 350+ logged dives. I generally prefer diving in warm-water locations where there are healthy coral reefs. I love diving with mega-fauna and have had the opportunity to dive with Tiger Sharks, Bull Sharks, Caribbean Reef Sharks, and Black-Tip Reef Sharks as well as with Mantas. But I also like looking at small critters and don't mind muck diving if there is a lot to see. Many of my dive trips have involved volunteer/citizen science research including coral health monitoring, fish biomass measurement and lionfish control.
I figure I'm probably at the upper end of the age demographic for this community but look forward to meeting fellow divers of any age
