I'm sure I can find the place by following them.

That being said, I'm still waiting to see who can make the trip with me... So come on Houston... who wants to go on a road trip??

We will probably need to leave Houston around 2:00 pm Friday to make the HH on time. I'm off at noon so I can pick up several of you if you are fairly close together or we can meet at a central place and go from there.

No 'please' needed! You all are family so of course the answer is yes! We'll start a list in the first post as to who needs a place to crash. That way we can handle the final accomodations right before everyone arrives!!!

Hey I just got some great news! It looks like one of our local dive shops would like to support us on this Happy Hour and has offered to donate gifts for door prizes as well as post our Happy Hour in their Monthly news letter and do whatever else we'd like for them to do! More details coming soon!

Happy Hour Update:

Ok Houston...we've now got a sponsor for the DFW Happy Hour!

The idea of having Happy Hour sponsors was thought of by Katie aka TheSassyRabbit and our first SD sponsor was Oceanic Ventures out of Houston. They were a delight and I look forward to many more activities with them!

But not to be outdone...International Scuba in Carrollton, TX has been SD friendly almost from the beginning. They have helped with just about everything we've ever asked them and being our first DFW area sponsor was no exception!

So stay tuned for more and be prepared for a really fun night....and oh yes...LOTS of cool stuff to win for just showing up to have a good time with other Single and Buddyless divers!!!

Hey all out of town Single Divers (that should be out of the DFW area)! (Actually it could be any diver from anywhere!) Maybe some of you could help me out. I want to DIVE! Even if it means cold water and turning blue. If anyone is brave enough to bring their gear and get wet , let me know and I'll try to set us up for Athens Scuba Park, if they're going to be open, or Clear Springs in Terrell.

BTW - Debbie and I have an extra bedroom w/it's own bath if any out of towner needs it. It has a queen size air bed (not too bad we slept on it for several weeks). We are in the University Parks area. Just let me now if anyone wants to crash here.

Athens is open! Post in the Where in the World Forum saying Athens or Terrel or bust! Also talk to bubble2bubble. He doesn't mind the cold...just dove at Athens last weekend. Too bad you didnt' join us at the Artic dive a couple of weekends ago. Then I would of had a dive buddy. As it was I skipped cuz I didn't want to dive by myself.

And I hope you are on the list to join us at the Happy Hour!! Do let us know so we can put your name on the list! -ww

Ted and Allan...thanks a million for offering your homes. I too have a place for people to crash as does Deb so we are getting a nice mix of folks offering a place to stay! Now we need to out of towners!!!
