hey campers and divers, I talked with wes the other day and he gave me some suggestions on some site locations. I'll post my site and my cell number on the message board near the dive shop. If you chose another site we can at least stay
in contact for the diving and gatherings when not diving. I'll have a small grill and
cooking stove for cooking but really dont have much in the way of camping type
cooking utensils, I'll bring my extra tent also. I'll be up there mid day thursday
if anyone wants to call for any additional info i may be able to provide, see ya
there !

we're pretty much still in our dry season in florida, since it's tropical it
can certainly rain anytime of the year but in terms of actual rainfall our
rainy season does not start till later in the summer, come on down !

I would really like to attend, but that means cleaning out my hangar before Friday. I'll have to hire a crew. Pencil me in!

Hypoxia02, will add you! Just requested my update of the moderators, but they are currently off diving. Some of us got together last weekend for Ocean Fest and if this is half the party the that was one it will be great. Plus I know there will be more diving occuring. At least I plan to make my first venture into that 72 degree spring water.

You'll love it, Nextariel. A 3-mil wetsuit is sufficient. I love diving springs like Blue Grotto and Devil's Den.

A 3-mil wetsuit is sufficient. I love diving springs like Blue

Bringing a 3 mil, plus a polypropolene, plus a 3 mil vest, and my beenie. And a very warm jacket for when I get out. May the sun be shining to the fullest next weekend.

i talked to Ginnie Springs yesterday, there is still some flooding, and the runs are still tanic.

Ginnie Spring itself is diveable, but the Devil's system still has tanic river water on top, so is currently only open to Apprentice and Full Cave divers.

but by next weekend, i'm sure it will have cleared up.
OK, lets make a deal. If you stop telling me how to dive, I'll stop going down to the bus station at 2am to slap d***s out of your mouth.

A 3 Mil farmer john and jacket is good for Ginnie. The water is a nice warm 72 deg. F. :clapping: :clapping:

Talked to John at Ginnie today. The river banks are a little higher than usual and some of the camp ground is wet. We won't camp there, duh! Ginnie Springs and Devil's Den are both open for diving.

Hmmm, there's always the SteamBoat Dive Inn...it's sort of like camping. :birthday:
