Didn't y'll declare a cease-fire at Coz? Maybe you could do the same again for Athens? I know neither of you would show weakness by suggesting it, but since I've suggested it??????

.......has anyone noticed Athens has -- DOUBLED -- the price of air fills this year to $10.00 ?

.......the local dive shops only charge $ 5.00 a fill........I can even get my HP 120s filled with up to EAN 40 for only $ 12.00 !!!! ......plus Calvin jacked up the daily diver fees back up to $ 20.00 ......the same price as Clear Springs Scuba Park, which is a much closer ( to the DFW metroplex ) and a much nicer facility.

Karl

Oh Dejah!

Where for art thou??? I really, really, really want to reply, but you haven't called me and I'm so hurt :dltears:

Yeah but when you are on a liveaboard there isn't a lot of time for drinking. First off if you drink then you can't dive the rest of the day. Second if you do all 5 dives by the time the night dive is over getting a hot shower and sleeping are more on your mind then drinking. Although I've been known to take glass of wine into the shower. That is why the liveaboard includes alcohol. Everybody I know goes on a liveaboard to dive not to drink.

Well I'm sure we can ask for the old pricing...but I prefer Athens over Clear Springs...warmer...real showers...real toilets...and the hot tub clinches it for me...not to mention Calvin is a hoot! -ww

Real toilets, real showers, hot tubs, what was that last part?? Hooters? (sorry ADD). Sounds like fun to me!

Yea they changed my schedule again. It looks like I may be able to make it to this one. Kamala does the invitation to sleep at your place still stand. let me know. It would be great to meet more of the divers from this grroup.

Yes invite is good...but I will be with my mom for Mother's Day so can't do the 7th and 8th. You all are welcome to do it without me...let me know as we have dock space at Athens reserved.

The 21st is NOT confirmed and won't be until next week when I expect a final answer back from Long Beach as to whether we have a booth there or not. We will definitely have a June Athens which will be June 25th & 26th and then we can do July 16th and 17th Aug TBD, Sept 24th & 25th and Oct 15th & 16th...

We like to squeeze a NE event into the mix...if possible but will have to look at the calendar for a date that works.
