I also would have gotten a trilam over compressed neophrene had this option been available in a women's suit (especially custom). Right now Bare is only offering women's trilams in Europe, including custom. The rationalle behind this, from what I understand, is that Europeans will simply pay more for their dive gear than we are generally willing to in North America.

Did you consider the DiveRite 905?

Sometimes the prevailing current or Flow can negate any possibility of "swimming leisurely".  In these cases, Drag is BAD!

I'd have to say I've never experienced any drag in my drysuit.

And in regards to David's previous comments about drysuits not winning any fashion awards - I don't know, maybe it's because I'm in the PNW, but guys in drysuits look so hot (cave/wreck diving, double wearing, Oregon shirt donning divers are even better, however... :anna: )!
It's Winter time - you know you're a diver when you're scraping ice off your windshield INSIDE your vehicle...!

Once in a while, it is good to step back, take a breath, and remember to be humble. You'll never know it all - ScubaDadMiami. If you aren't afraid of dying, there is nothing you can't achieve - Lao-tzu. One dog barks at something, the rest bark at him - Chinese Proverb.

Hi All,

some facilities offer classes utilizing wetsuits only while others offer both wet and drysuit diving.

Thx!

If you have to choose between a wet or dry suit - your living in the wrong local.
Come on down here to Florida where we wonder if we'll need a shortie or 3 mil in the middle of the winter

I learned to dive in the cold quarry waters in Ohio.

Olympic diving is a sport. Scuba diving is an obsession.

Hmm,

Most of my diving buddies here in FL are drysuit divers or headed that way. I know I am. Diving tomorrow at Ginnie, and air temps are scheduled to be about 46F when I hit the water. High of 55F. That's drysuit weather for me.
