Welcome to our home! Jump right in, we are trying to always have an instructor on our trips. Narwhal was in Cozumel, I'll be in Bonaire (Narwhal might also join us). Don't shy away from joining us before gathering more experience, we'll help you get that experience.

oh...and like walter said...definately don't wait until you get a lot of experience before you decide to come out and play. i'm going to bonaire with the group and hopefully they won't have to babysit me after i test my fins in the lake in may at the athens sd trip...but i know if i need help, everyone on board will lend a helping hand (or shove! i'm sure you've noticed that some of our group - not naming any names - have BITING wits). so start planning your vacation time with us!

So even if you lurk...as long as you are telling people about us...that is ok too!!!
Walter is right...use a trip like Bonaire to do your refresher and garner that experience while having a blast!! We had two divers do a refresher course in Cozy so you wouldn't be the first nor the last!!
And speaking of which...I have 2 spots left on the Bonaire trip so you could jump on it if you like!!!
I'm glad you have decided to introduce yourself! We really don't bite...nibble maybe but we don't bite!! Jump in and have some fun...and I hope we'll see you real soon on some awesome trips!! Besides you need to get some practice in so you can go and dive on history with us in NC!!
Let us know what we can do to improve the board....and keep telling others about us...the more the merrier!!! -Wreck Wench

Welcome to the bunch...

Yeah I know: I've been branded a non-group person - doesn't play well with others. I am so upset. Let me know if you want to have some fun, without the drama - I'm good for that.

Joe! 'chie is definitely right- there are some biting wits around here & just to let you know.... SHE'S the ringleader!!!! It's a lively bunch but since 'chie joined, I 've had to replace my keyboard twice! (Marvel reading a typical 'chie post: ) But, be warned- don't expect to get the best of her- it won't happen!! So, grab a seat & join right into the mayhemwelcome MNJoe! so i'm assuming minnesota, but correct me if i'm wrong. it would definately be a blast if you could join us on some sd trips.

You are a lively bunch and I know diving with you will be a blast. I thought the Bonaire trip was going to work, but I all ready have a week off in June, my summer gets booked up pretty fast. I will be watching for a trip that fits my budget and schedule. In the mean time I will be reading the posts here.
Wreck Wench-I would love to take credit for sending people to the board, but someone else deserves that. Not that I won't be recommending this site, because I certainly will.
WisconcsinGal-I live in SE MN, Rochester to be exact. I also spend a good portion of time around the Leech Lake area. Where in the WI are you?
And for those of you that bite-You can bite, you can leave marks and even draw blood, but any removal of flesh will be going a step too far.
