WW I think single divers is ready to add couples divers to it menu. What do our couples think?
If we do have a SD guy auction. I'm in. I wonder if Fed Ex will ship a dive hunk and all his gear.

But Seriously, I think this would be a awesome offshoot from the singles trips.. we already had some couples and are slowly getting more as trips and weeks go by so this would be a great deal for them.

I know of 5 couples.. No, I'm not gonna name them as they may prefer to remain anonymous at this moment in time. Maybe Kamala knows of one or two more.Inquiring minds want to know....how many (known) SD couples are there now?
There is a boat charter in the British Virgin Islands I suggested to Kamala simply because it will only take 4 couples. Not a strict diving boat but other activities also. The captain will adjust the itinerary to allow more diving if thats what the group wants. It is a smaller sailing ship then a diving boat so meclazine is in order if seasickness is an issue.

I will however look into it. I do think that expanding a bit will allow our buddyless divers to feel more comfortable on a trip...or rekindle that special flame that many of our new couples are feeling right now!
Should we look to do a trip later this year or shoot for next? Not sure what the vacation time looks like for people...of if you all prefer a short get away or longer getaway.
As for the singles out there...we may have two 'auction' couples...one girl and one guy that want to go on the trip and would be willing to have fun by going with the highest bidder. Of course we'd have all the proper limitations and expectations put into place but it could be fun.
We could use the monies raised to support our favorite charities!

How about "SingleDiversWithKids.com"?Hmm...looks like I derailed my own thread.
But seriously...anyone else think its time to have an SD couples trip? You do not need to have met your other half on SD...so if you are one of Buddyless divers...here's a special trip for just you and him or you and her!
Very romantic...
Without a care in the world...
Access to others just like you...
or not...
Surrounded by awesome SD members...
And fabulous diving...dining...and whatever else the mind can imagine....
We've already established a need and desire for our SingleParentsWithKids.com to have a trip for single parents and kids...
Here's the chance to have a CouplesDiving.com trip...

Hmmm....I just happen to know quite a few people at the FedEx HQ in Memphis, I can ask for ya ;-).Ok my 2 psi. Even tho I am still single :dltears: and do not have a dive hunk to go on a couples trip with. I think its a great idea. Not all of our members are single and with some of the single members forming official couples, it is time.

With lots of dive gear. and other fun dive toys.
I want him to arrive in good condition with out too much shipping damage to him or his gear.
Let me know $$ and feasability.. Thanks.

Hmmmm....my friend who works for FedEx is 5'10", 185 pounds, works out, blonde hair, blue eyes and shipping would be $35 one-way ticket (he gets deals on tix due to FedEx arrangements), but he has no dive gear and doesn't dive. Good news is, if he has the time off in September, he will join me and a friend to Belize and get certified there...is that good enough? That would be great. I am thinking a 5'-10" to 6' hunk about 175 to 200 lbs.

If ya want a pic, I'll post a link to where you can see him as well as my myriad of wet and drunken pics from the 1st weekend in May at the Memphis in May, Beale Street Music Festival.
