Hey WisconsinGirl! Let me be the first to  you to our home. We hope that you call this your home also.

If you ever to get to Texas, there are quite a few of us on this board that would get with you and show you around our state. We also have one of the best diving, in my opinion, right in our own backyard. It's about 110 miles off the coast of Freeport called the Flower Gardens National Marine Sanctuary. Some of the best diving that I have done so far...a bit challenging at times, but great nonetheless.

Again, welcome and enjoy your new home. If there is anything that we can do for you or you just have questions in general, please don't hesitate to ask.

Thanks for the Welcome! That would be great!

Ohh geez, here I go already telling a fib :) , I've been outside the US once, for a ski trip in Thunder Bay.. Had a Blast. Beautiful country :)

It's chilly here too. Mother Nature continues to tease use every now and then with 50 degree temps but then decides to dump a load of snow just to remind us that it ain't over yet..

Marla,

I'm glad you found your way over. Feel free to invite others.

Is there a better way to bring in the New Year than on a dive?

Thanks for Warm Welcome from everyone!

Yes there is definitely some great diving to be had out my way.. Particularly Lake Wazee. That's where I've done most of my local diving. A bit chilly when you hit those thermoclines, but definitely tolerable.

Walter I'll definitely pass the info on to others. Regarding New Year's... I can't think of a better way to ring in the New Year, than being with friends and an enjoyable dive!
