. Hmmm (looking more closely under those Foster Grants and the cap)... yeegads, I think she's another blonde. Oh my.

Just teasing ya Bann (and the rest of our hair color challenged members).

Dr. B.

Yes that would be some blond hair under the cap. But really hair color isn't that challenging, those of us that are natural-well it's just there- for those of us that aren't the bottles come with directions you know :angel2: The challenging part is reading them..... :) And I do have interest in our underwater world, in particular regarding the way the people trash its waters, but I won't get on my soap box (I might fall off). And Walter thanks, I will try your suggestion.

Bann,

Dr. Bill has a preference for brunettes. I never understood why hair color is even an issue.

Walter, I must admit that I'm not sure why it is an issue either. Funny thing is more of my dive buddies are blondes than brunettes. I dive with them because I enjoy their company, they are good divers, we enjoy going over our dives and my video footage afterwards... and we can actually talk about many subjects other than diving.

My buddy out today (Karen) surprised me with a new do... she braided in black and grey dreadlocks that must be close to 6' long! Boy was that something to observe as we dove together today.

I apologize to any blonde I've offended on this board... except to those who were brunettes to begin with! Natural is natural.

I doubt you offended anyone. You prefer brunettes. Nothing wrong with that. You also like blondes. Everything being equal (not that it is ever equal), you'd be drawn to the brunette.

Blonde by birth or blonde by choice.... Who cares????

Blondes have more fun...and I can prove it!!!  ww

Amen to that WW!!!! :anna:
OK, little truth here:
I was born a blonde, grew up as one with some darkening occuring over time. I started going grey at the ripe old age of 18- genetic, you know. Pregnancy at 20 seemed to provoke a major change in my hair color & I really started finding it hard to define what color hair I had! Light brown, with tons of blonde, & red highlights. Not to mention lots more grey mingled in.
When I started coloring my hair, to hide the grey, initially I went with various shades of brown, which seemed to age me a little. But, as soon as I would go out in the sun a little, my hair would start lightening on its own- blonde & red streaks turning up. So, for fun, I went red (auburn) for a couple of years. When I did, I found it amusing to note the difference in how I was perceived by other people. But, again, the sun continued to bring out lots of blonde in my hair, so much so that I had trouble keeping it auburn. So, I finally bit the bullet & went blonde all the way.
The response was amazing, to put it mildly!!! Although I had noticed a difference in how I was percieved as a redhead, it was NOTHING to compared to how people looked at me as a blonde!! Even people who had known me for years started acting/reacting to me differently! As for people who had never met me- well!! It was just too much fun!!! At one point, I tried going darker but that darned ole' sun..... :-D . Heck, I don't even need to go out in the sun for my hair to start lightening on its own. So, blonde I became, blonde I will remain- it suits me & I love it!!! And, folks, given my history, I can honestly attest that the saying that "Blondes have more fun" is true! To top it off, after I grew my hair long, I started getting an even stronger response from people too, which I just find so much fun to play along with.... :teeth:

Marvel, the sun is telling you something. Stay blonde, and the more of it, the better. Just an average guy's unbiased perspective.
