If your single you have probably gotten pretty good at doing tasks that might usually fall on the opposite sex. But in the back of your mind you wish you had a guy/girl to do it for you.
I remembered today after 4 hours of yard work that this is one of those times.

:clapping: I HATE SPIDERS, BUGS, WORMS, AND WEEDS. :teeth:

How I really wanted a partner this afternoon. Another one that comes up often is when I have to move a dresser, couch, bed......... flipping the dang mattress.

How about the rest of you ladies ???

And the guys, maybe it's your laundry or grocery shopping

I'm not sure where to start, lots of mundane things I wish there was a woman around to handle. No, I have NOT become good at them, only barely adequate.

I'll have to say cooking, shopping, housekeeping, laundry, and adding a "woman's touch" to the decor.

If I had to choose just one, cooking would be it. The way to man's heart is still through his stomach.

A woman to add her side to a relationship - someone to bounce ideas off, to tell me when I'm wrong (well, I'm male therefore I'm wrong 100% of the time), to keep me sane and on the right path.... I won't go into what else a lady could do for me.... :P

A good back rub after a bike ride would be nice, some help in the kitchen, a womans touch with the decorating although since she would have to be a diver she would probably be happy with what I've done.
I definetly don't want a woman who can/will flip my mattress, it's a water bed!

I mainly miss having someone to spend time with when taking a walk or watching a movie...and I also enjoyed being able to bounce ideas off of my wife or ask for her opinion on one thing or another...I also find that when I am in a couple's situation (i.e., at a friend's house where other couples are, etc.) that I tend to feel strange when I look over to see them holding hands or snuggling up to one another & I am left cozying up to a couch pillow...

Honestly, it is overwhelming to be a single parent that works more than one job, and then you have to come home to do everything from house word, to yard work, to car upkeep and so on and so on!

There are times when I honestly wish that some show like "While you were out" or "Clean Sweep" or especially Ty from Extreme Home Makeover, would just show up and make my world and easier and less stressful place.

But since that is not going to happen.... :P

I am content doing it all myself. Yes, it stresses me out and yes its a great deal of grief...but I think you get so set in your ways, it is hard to change,

But it would be nice to have someone who took on all the things that I didnt want to do.

One of the rare moments when I say "I need a man around right now..." is when I need a major repair (car/ac/large appliances). Or when I don't want to carry my own tanks. :P
