for all the birthday wishes!!
I did get to get one dive in today... drove out to Ginnie Springs and spent some time exploring the Devil's Eye cavern. I then swam out to the Ear and was going to go into the cavern there too (with all the tannic water, is it still a cavern dive? ), but there was a group of divers coming out so I just sat on the bottom of the Sante Fe River watching as the two waters (tanninc river and clear spring) mixed. Dark brown clouds of river water would come by and completely block out the sun (and all other vis) and then gracefully roll away. I stayed there so long that several fish started feeding in front of me!! I guess they just thought I was part of the scenery. It was a really peacful way to unwind after a long night of work.
I look forward to future trips with you SD'ers!! Dive safe.... and OFTEN!!
