Nope, nothing so noble.... Just raising money for the community centre that I am on the board for. The centre focuses on supplying resources to people in need such as showers, laundry facilities, subsidized food and various activities... :cheerleader:

Hello Sunshine...
(sorry, couldn't resist as it's a favorite saying for those that bring a little sunshine in my life, so couldn't resist..)

Anyway, the diving was good, I do the same thing on every trip regardless of where it is... an this was the "before Camera" days... so don't have many photos of it...
Here ae a few photos, surface really and before Camera days...
http://www.poolesweb.com/dom_pic.htm

It's a great place and the hike and waterfall cave are kewl and bring good memories.. the diving was good, some better than others, diving though the bubbles was an experience.. just fun etc...

All that to say, keep it high on the list.. it's worth it... and if you are in reasonable shape, do the Boiling Lake Trip..

Thanks for sharing! You said Before Camera Days...what kind of camera do you use? I am in Between Camera Days. My last camera broke so I am thinking of upgrading to the Digital Rebel XT (350D) or the EOD 20D.

Thanks for the compliments...I love to bring a little Sunshine into other people's lives. :birthday:

Don't want to hi-jack the thread so drop a note if you need anything further?
I'm shooting an Oly 4040 L&M Tetra housing w/2Nikon SB105 Strobes.
Also have an OLY 5050 in their plastic PT-015 housing which I'll move to an Ikelite when I get the chance.
Moving up to an Oly 7070 w/Tetra Housing and Inon Strobes in the near future.

The Canon and Nikon are both very popular with the UW set. I"m assuming DSLR which means big Bucks... I believe it comes down to just a preferenc, the Nikon leans toward better lens and the Canon leans towards a better body (or vice versa) but the differences are minimal to say the least.

The key is to find a camera/housing that you like and then grow with that. We're talking stobes, domes, ports, lens on up..

these links should keep you busy for a while ...

Let me know if I can be of any help..
the www.snapnshoot.org site can be helpful so you don't have re-invent the wheel and you can post some photos etc..

Hope that helps...
