Okay, enough nagging to get a profile up--
I'm Gloria and I've lived in Orange County for the past 20 years and have been diving for the past 12 years--local socal diving as well as the Caribbean and Hawaii.
Looking forward to meeting some of you on the Bonaire trip--it's been way too long sice my last dive, so this will be an adventure ; ) globug

Hi Gloria! Great to have another SoCal-er on the board here. Looking forward to diving with you in Bonaire and hopefully before then!

Hi Gloria,

Welcome to Single Divers! I'm looking forward to diving with you in Bonaire.

In 1986, there was a series of "Gloria" dive t-shirts. Each one had a sketch of Gloria on a dive with various things happening and a short statement about Gloria.

In one she was nose to nose with a large shark, the caption was "Gloria's heart pounded."

In another, a large shark was above and behind her casting a large shadow over her. "Suddenly, Gloria was not alone."

I haven't thought of those in years.

Welcome!

Walter

:welcome: Gloria...glad you stopped by and hope that you will call this home. There are a lot of knowledgeable people here that are ready and willing to help in anyway, all you have to is ask.

Don't forget to take a look at our website at SingleDivers.com. We are constantly upgrading and would love to see you on one of our upcoming trips.

Again, welcome to our little place on the net where having fun is what it is all about.

Howdy Gloria! :cool1:

:welcome: Welcome to the bunch! Most these people don't know what they're missing having never dived Kelp Beds, different fishes and other animals, etc.

Yeah I know: I've been branded a non-group person - doesn't play well with others. I am so upset. Posted Image Let me know if you want to have some fun, without the drama - I'm good for that.

Welcome Gloria!!!

So Scott kept after you to post and you finally decided to to so eh? I've got one thing to say about that! YEA!!! :respect:

Glad you joined us and BETTER YET...decided to come out of the background and say hello! I promise it only hurts once...now you are out...it is only fun from here on it!!!

Well you certainly have met the right group of people to have fun with! We have some awesome trips planned to blue water all over the world and will soon have some official trips to the PNW...CA...NY/NJ...FL area too!

We are playful on the board...perhaps a bit too much sometimes but we all just want to have a good time with ALL aspects of our favorite sport which includes the Surface Intervals too! Please jump right in and make yourself at home...and we'd love your feedback on our website as well as our board. We have implemented almost every suggestion or feedback we've gotten from our members so keep 'em coming!!!

I'm thrilled you are joining us in Bonaire and I hope to see you on more trips soon! You'll see that we emphasize trips because that's what we do here....1. Have FUN...2. Go DIVING with other FUN people...3. Have FUN when we aren't diving by hanging out on the Surface Interval!! Notice a trend???

Welcome aboard and we still have some room left for Bonaire if you know anyone else who wants to join us and of course my beloved North Carolina trips!!! Can you imagine 85 degree warm water wreckdiving!!! Gosh I love this sport!!! -
