DEMA the Diving Equipment and Marketing Association the main trade show for the diving industry will hold its annual trade show Oct 4-7th in Las Vegas.
This is not a show for consumers but rather DM's and Instructors in the dive industry as well as for vendors wishing to sell to the dive industry.
As a member of DEMA, SingleDivers.com will be at the show to procure travel specials for next year and 2007!
I have a room at the show hotel the Hilton for Oct 4-7 and I'll be flying out Oct 7th. We'd love to do a local area Happy Hour and/or an industry Happy Hour like we did last year when DEMA was in Houston!
Is anyone interested in going as a dive professional and are any of our members wanting to do a local area Happy Hour?

Alas, I think we only have one, maybe two members in the Vegas area.... but I am SURE that we'll have a slew of them by the time that you leave! 
As for me, well, let's just say that I spent waaaaayyyyyy to much time in Vegas back when I played pool- definitely NOT the place for me to go. I've got a serious weakness for Pai Gow poker & blackjack......

...ok we will not go there....Does the DEMA show still cost $40.00 or $50.00 or are you fortunate enough to have passes....that you are giving out?
If i go I will want to spend one evening going to see either Zumanity, KA......or maybe the "O"...but I've seen that 4 times....But I can always see it again

DEMA is not a consumer event. Attendees must either be dive professionals, dive shop personnel, or with an exhibitor. Showroom floor tickets for these individuals typically run $30.Does the DEMA show still cost $40.00 or $50.00 or are you fortunate enough to have passes....that you are giving out?
WW, I'm not sure yet where Ryan and I are staying (the shop is handling our reservations) - somewhere on the strip, but we are currently keeping Thursday night open for some debauchery!!

It is not a consumer event? Gosh….Being I sold 250k in Suunto products last year and another combined 500k in Body Glove, Lee Webber, Freestyle etc. etc. merchandise….I hope that qualifies me?…..I assume I can register again.... as I have before.
