There we all are, sailing along on a boat in the middle of the ocean. Don't ask me how we all got there or even why... maybe a huge SD.com party yacht.. in any case, let's just assume that we are there. We all have our standard SCUBA luggage with us (ie: what we would normally take on dive trips). Catastrophe suddenly strikes and we find ourselves all quickly leaving this large, luxurious vessel for the safety of a much smaller lifeboat. For circumstances unbeknownst to anyone other than the writer of this ridiculous tale, we are only allowed to bring ourselves and one carry-on item, regardless of size, into the lifeboat. Keep in mind please that everyone will survive this dilemma unscathed, without the heroics of bringing each other or any life sustaining items on board, so your choice can be based solely upon sentiment. What would you bring with you?

Mine is easy... my guitar. And you?

Here is a stupid question about the rules but does it have to be something that you would actually travel with?

For you Miss Michelle, it can be something you don't normally travel with if you like... I'm not really one much for rules, haven't you figured that out by now? :teeth:

My cats....who wouldn't be with me on a dive trip...unless my RV was also...in which case, it'd be the RV (you did say "regardless of size")...and everything in it...which would include my cats :teeth:

Well TD if you got the beer, I will bring the pool table!

Hmmm...seeing that the "rules" are fast and loose here...

I try to follow Oscar Wilde's words as I go through life:

"Ordinary riches can be stolen from a man. Real riches cannot. In the treasure-house of your soul, there are infinitely precious things that may not be taken from you."

(Also, I'm much too practical about such matters to ever bring something of truly sentimental value with me when I travel. :teeth:)

And so on that note...

Mishelle, if you bring the pool table, I will graciously assist you with its safe transport from the sinking ship onto the little boat. :o

But nothing too heavy! Just the 8 ball will do! :teeth:

Well heck, he said he was bringing beer! What is an island resort suddenly overrun by divers going to do without a bar! lol
I figure the three of us can start our own establishment....now for a name...hmmmm

Well, this is an easy one.

I'm going to grab the suitcase with the $100 million in it.
