Welcome. I got certified in Kauaii about a month ago. The diving was great! I unfortunately will be one of those testing out the cold california diving.. . :lam:Aloha...my name is Dee Wescott and I live in Hawaii (on the Island of Hawaii).... I have even dived in a lake in Connecticut, but NOT Long Island Sound or California (brrrrrrrrrrr).

Welcome to SD. Great to have another world traveler and photographer with us. Just the sound of the places you've dived makes my regulator tingle (mouth water just doesn't seem to cut it).
Now California isn't that bad. I just finished two dives in ~58-63 degree water. Comfy if I do say so myself. Would love to dive Hawaii sometime soon.

Wow you live in paradise and we sure hope to be diving there as a Singles trip soon!
It is great to see you stop in and say "hi"!!! I wish you could join us in Bonaire in June but the trip is FULL however you might like some adventure diving in NC..the GraveYard of the Atlantic as it is REALLY warm water and you get to dive on history...like the second German U-Boat we sunk in WWII and only 1 of 3 wrecks in divable waters!! Got to see her while she lasts....ah yes...the saltwater eats away our wrecks vs the ones you have further up North!
We'll also have an awesome warm water trip for Sept that will be either Honduras Sept 11-18 at Fantasy Island! So if you can ever pull yourself away from your backyard...we'd love to have you join us on a trip!!
We are glad you have joined us. Look around...ask lots of questions and post replies to other questions if you like and don't forget to post a picture! (We can size it for you if you like...just let us know!)
