Hi All,

In the profiles section is a field to be filled out for City, State. Well, I don't live in a State (except maybe a state of confusion) but okay, I'll enter my province in there. How about adding country?? When this site takes off, there will be loads of members from all different countries so we should address that now.
(Actually, I entered Province and Country instead of City and State. I'm living outside the box!!)

Thoughts?

Now that we're getting so many new members, it's getting harder to keep track of where everyone's from. Any chance of getting locations under our avatar pics? Since we're all single and looking for buddies, it would be nice to have easy reference to where each person hails from... Might be B) info to list.

Hey Coo's Toe...we are working on figuring out how to do that! However being the task master that I am...I keep giving them other projects to do first....so I'll try to be good and let them finish one first!! LOL!! Ok...well maybe just 'this' one!!

Right now, I can add in the location or basically anything I want. Look under your avatar. The problem is getting the system to do so automatically. I'd have to do each member manually. I can probably get through everyone in a few days, but I doubt our growth rate will remain the same. It probably won't be long before we can't keep up with everyone who joins. There are a few other things I have to do manually with each new member that we are also looking for methods of making them automatic.

We like the idea too.

You'd have to be able to do it automatically. I think if you had to do it manually, you'd never get to dive again, considering our present growth rate, and I wouldn't wish that kind of chore on my worst enemy.

I'll keep my fingers crossed, it would be a nice thing to have. But don't lose any sleep or dive time over it.

First you offer to help at the SeaSpace show to help spread the word about SD.com....then all the behind the scenes stuff you do....not to mention helping to organize the Athens dive and now we find out you have some programming skills....well just how lucky can we be??????
