I dive whenever I get a chance, the only Holiday that's out is the 4th of July :respect:

when family come to my place for the fireworks over the lake. Since my daughter is usually my buddy college breaks are always wet. :teeth:

A big problem to traveling over holidays is that so many others want to go to the same places at the same time. Looking into travel into Montreal over Labor Day weekend, I found the air fares prohibitive, and used FF-miles. Everything else worked out okay.

But traveling to Cancun during "The Winter Holidays" when school kids are out, many business operations closed for over a week, etc. - I've been warned to expect pay double on everything!

Still, it's when I want to go. Nothing for me to be home for that week. Maybe some place else...
