It may be a stretch, but:

The blimp denotes Led Zepplin
The two guys in the dark suits with guitar cases are The Blues Brothers
The half-dollar represents Fifty Cents (Isn't that a rapper?)

Well....er....they are pistols of sorts, and I don't recall anything in the rules that one item can't symbolize more than one band (Sex Pistols as well). However, my brilliant 20-20 hindsight makes me agree with FinGrabber that the guns on the cart are truly the guns for Guns 'n Roses.
