Help! My apartment has turned into a dive shop!!!

I've picked up 4 old steel 72's a while back for a song, and figured I'd make a couple sets of smaller doubles for rec diving. I never imagined what a chore that would be. I borrowed a tumbler and media from a friend and set about terrifying all my neighbors with hours of loud rumbling, filled the kitcken sink with rusty sludge, and cluttered up the living room with valves, isolators, tank bands, replacement burst discs, and valve rebuild kits.
My HID light bulb burned out, so I decided to rebuild it as a 35 watt halogen. Now there are cannister light parts strung out all over the kitchen table...
I stayed up way too late last night assembling tanks and manifolds. Took 'em to the real dive shop today and pumped them up to 3500 psi... Everthing held. No o-ring extrusions or flying schrapnel. Sweeeeet. A lot of work and shopping finally paid off. Everything's loaded in my buddy's trailer, all set to go for a full weekend of diving. Should be a blast shaking out all the newly rebuilt toys.
It's time to get a garage. I've reached the point where my dive gear outnumbers my furniture. Considering a 12 step program for scuba gear addiction... Help!

it's just like when the dryer eats socks, only in reverse. whatever you do....DON'T put 2 tanks next to each other at night....you'll end up with 15 by daybreak!!!

I'll have you know- all missing dryer socks go to Idaho!what you don't realize is that your gear multiplies while you're asleep at night.

Hey CT- If you're steel 72's are breeding like rabbits, I'll take a couple off your hands... :anna:

I have a feeling I'm going to dedicate the rec room to scuba and sewing soon.

So if the socks go to Idaho, where do they keys go?!
I'm still trying to figure out how it does the automatic withdrawls from my checking account
simple. pets.
in my house, my chihuahua steals the keys and then drives over to the atm and makes withdrawals. 'course, he's kinda short, so he gets on the dachsund's shoulders and they in turn climb onto the shepard's back. (besides, the shepard is the only one who has a license).

Freshly back from an awesome weekend of divedivedivediving!!!!!! All kinds of new gear, or new combos of old gear, were given shakedowns in salt water.72's make a SWEEEET set of small doubles. I grab any that I can score.
THE 72'S ROCKED!!!!!
I'm used to the spinal compression factor involved in humping double 104's all over the place... No more of that, that's for sure. The 72's felt like I was wearing a single 80. I could jump around in them! Wow! Sweeeeet! I was actually able to do some rock climbing in these things... ( Don't ask, don't tell ). Long story short, I have new favorite tanks.
APEKS REGULATORS ROCK!!!!
I have tasted the sweetness of compressed air from the smoothest breathing regs I've ever tried. I thought the Scubapro regs were sweet breathers, but these things blew my mind!!!
I'll have to post a dive report in the shared photo's section when I have time to download the photos, because I came back with a bunch of awesome photos of some amazing critter encounters. Awesome weekend! Report to follow soon.
