I was just sent an article about hyperbaric oxygen and how it increases stem cells in a patient's body. It's from Penn Medicine, University of Pennsylvania. See the link below.

Apparently, researchers have discovered that a typical series of hyperbaric oxygen treatments increases by eight-fold the number of stem cells circulating in a patient’s body. This has promise to facilitate recovery of injured and diseased tissue in the human body.

An additional benefit of hyperbaric oxygen treatment is that it doesn't have the potential side effects that inducing stem cells via pharmaceutical agents that are used to increase stem cells can have. The process works by increasing nitric oxide in the bone marrow, which triggers enzymes that cause stem cell release.
