Uh-OH....I have the opportunity to go diving this weekend out to the Flower Gardens National Marine Sanctuary, so I am going to take them up on the offer. Water temp being right around 70 degrees and the air temp at approximately 80 for the weekend and 2 ft seas for the trip.....how can I resist.
This time of the year is when the Hammerheads are migrating, Spotted Eagle Rays fly in squadrons, and all of the other cold blooded sea life migrate through there. Two weeks ago, on ONE dive, a diver saw a hammerheads, 15 spinner sharks schooling, 2 eagle rays, large amberjacks, a nurse shark and thousands of king mackerel. Not bad for ONE DIVE.
I am leaving sometime around 5pm and will return Sunday evening. Hope everyone has a terrific weekend. I will write and post a trip report for this weekends diving as well as pictures and video.

OMGosh DL....snow tomorrow....? BIG YUK. I lived up north (Nebraska) for 1 year, to the day, and couldn't wait to get out of there. I can't stand living in cold weather. I don't mind visiting it to go sking, but WILL NOT LIVE IN IT EVER AGAIN.
