Describing the pain.

First, you'll need a sharpened #2 pencil. Extremely sharp. Second, Jab the pencil into your abdomen about 3-4 inches to left of your navel. Make sure the eraser is about level with your skin. Now continue going about your normal daily routine. About every five mintues pound on the eraser with your fist. Do this all day long.

The strictures caused by Diverticulitus are unbelievebly painful. I wouldn't want anyone to experience that.

Eat right, Drink water.
Cheers,
Rob

Boy you said it all right there. I was describing it more like a knife with Jagged edges. :wavey:

I do eat right and drink water....it is genetic thou. But now I'm really afraid to eat anything except fiber.

Yea its terrible. I was so ill. It is genetic, I still can't help but think it was stress. I had a rough year before that.

I am amazed at how well I have kept my spirits up. I haven't cried. It is true. "God doesn't give you anything that you can't handle" I have become a very strong woman. Now things just Roll off of me.

Hey Fingrabber, I'm ready to Roll of the Boat in the Gulf of Mexico. :wavey: I'm really going to work next weekend on getting this trip filled up. It will be a joy going out on the Fling with Frank & Melanie, and all of the family. Have a good one sister

May I ask what part did they remove? Your going to have a second surgery? erg, good luck with that. I'll think good thoughts for you. :wavey:
