I don't know if I can wait til November for the trip report! Sure hope it is a great one for you. I'm big time envious! If it hadn't have been for 9-11, I'd have done this trip already (and should have in retrospect).

I was there in 1992, did the land and Nile tour, but no diving. Red Sea is high on the list, but I'm waiting until things calm down politically before venturing back. It will be an incredible journey.

Are you going to do North Sinai, South Sinai, or the stretch between Sharm El Sheikh to Hurghada? I dove a little of the latter two a very long time ago (in the 70s). It was magnificent.

We will be going to see the sites in Cairo and Luxor. We are looking to dive in El Gouna on recommendation from dive professionals who used to work in Egjyp. They have advised that the diving is better than in Sharm and, well, quite frankly, it is at least a little bit away from the last bombing. Don't worry, there will be pictures up the wazoo!

Sounds like a good choice.....5 years ago I did Egypt...the Nile, Pyramids, Cairo and you have to go to Abu Simbel.....It was one of the greatest adventures....crusing down the nile....hope you are going with someone....it is wonderfully romatic...Luxor...one of the great cities of all time. Dove Sharm...greatest corals....but fish life...well they ate them all years ago....You will have one of the great adventures in your life...Egypt is cool....when they like us...oh i forgot they like Cunucks...LOL!
You must endeavor to pursue!
