Tired of dealing with all the black luggage that looks alike, today I went and bought a red suitcase. I debated on the lime green, but just could not bring myself to do it.

that's one way to distinguish your luggage!

I would have gone for the lime green...unless of course, it came in neon purple! Instead I went for the Hawaiian theme, bright orange and purple flowers.

I openly covet Ali's luggage too! Watch out Waterphoto in T&C - I also have red luggage and I think WW does too!!!

My bags are olive, but I may put PINK NRA stickers all over them to make them stand out.

Just got back from a trip where one of my friends picked up the wrong luggage. Of course, she had the typical black luggage with no real identifiers. She didnt even bother to check the name on the luggage tag.
Fortunately for her the same guy took her luggage and ended up staying at the same hotel, so it was easy for them to switch. I use a bright purple and gold suitcase for US travel.
Also I wouldnt recommend locking your luggage, TSA will end up breaking the lock or delaying your luggage or even delaying your flight. But if you still want to lock your luggage use only TSA approved locks.

The problem with TSA locks is when you travel overseas other countries inspectors don't have the TSA key but I would guess in a few years the baggage handlers will.
