Excellent info!
Do not throw your boarding passes away in your hotel room, when you arrive, either. Into your home shredder is the safest thing to do.
I have even seen boarding passes sticking out of the pocket in front of my airline seat.

Thanks for the heads up. I just got back from Costa Rica and was about to throw away my boarding pass.
I guess the one thing I have going for me is I'm on fraud alert because of the UT scandal. It is scary how much information some one can get off of a piece of paper.
Luckily, my frequent flyer access is password protected (and even I have trouble remembering!) And I refuse to post my passport number or anything of that nature on the Web.

Victoria, according to the article they buy a ticket in your name and it bypasses your password and then they can even change your info but that may only work on some airlines.
