AOL listens to its customers...well for a short period of time.
I don't think so, they've started spamming us. I've complained, nothing's happened. Very soon, I'll let them listen to the door slam as I switch ISPs.

Scott if it were easy it would have been done by now.
My suggestion while you wait (and grow old as you have pined earlier) is to either check into the site more frequently so you'll see what you are missing or set up a Hotmail or Yahoo free account and check it or pay a few bucks and have the messages from your new Yahoo or Hotmail account forward to your AOL. Yes it is a work around but one that you can implement today and be up and running immediately.
Since we've been working on this for quite some time and there is no permanent solution in sight, it appears for all the foreseeable future, that these are your best options.

Wow. You have to *pay* for the pleasure of unsolicited advertising in your e-mail? I imagine that must be having a dramatic effect on their membership! I would't put up with that (expletive deleted) on anything but a free e-mail account. Heck, even my freebie Yahoo! e-mail account doesn't pull that.Of course it does. They claim to be filtering all spam, yet they are spamming us with an ad on each and every e-mail we receive.AOL does not Suck!!!!...LOL...LOL
