dorky kids? speak for yourself, walter! these little boys are dolls, and the grown-up ones aren't bad either :cool1:

what do i get when i win this contest, anyway? because i will win. because it's sooooo easy.

here are my match-ups:

drbill is no. 33, ever the nurturer;
jextract is no. 47, destined to be a diver, and a happy one;
jro is no. 74, with a wicked grin he's learned to conceal as an adult.
maxdvr is no. 25, a free spirit who made a lot of money off the tooth fairy;
superdave is no. 97, as distinctive a dresser as a child as he is as an adult;
walter is no. 7, as dreamy looking as a boy as he is today;
zendiver is no. 38, yet to learn to spread his wings and fly.

c'mon, walter, whaddo i win????

Well, we'll have to give everyone a chance to guess first, darlin'.

Well darlin',

I can't speak for the others, but my dad wasn't slow to use discipline (the dreaded belt). My mother and grandmother used to make me cut my own switch. They were partial to Surinam Cherry, it had a right nice sting. You didn't even want to think about Granddad catching you up to no good.

Todd,

I received and recorded your guesses.

It was a different world when we grew up. I doubt my kids have any idea what it was like.

Argh!!! You just brought back a TERRIBLE memory, Walter! My dad was quick with the belt! :teeth:

Sent in my guesses to Walter. Still remember the sound of a belt being whipped out of belt loops. I think my dad was the quickdraw king of belts.

Sorry to bring back bad memories, Marvel. Forget that and try your hand at guessing. You did so well on the last one.

my pops had a razor strap (he worked at the stockyards in chicago and they had to sharpen knoves a lot).
but all he had to do was tell us to go it....and we'd start cryin'. he never actually used it on us!

You think you all had it bad: razor straps, belts...pftttt
