Yes. It is a two tank trip. However, he is willing to let us do 3 dives if everyone wants to. It would mean getting back to Galveston later.

Cool! I have 3 tanks! :twist:

But...

Depending upon water conditions I may put on my long fins and do some freedive/polespear fishing on one of the dives. :birthday:

Thanks, Sandy. I do have my own tank plus I can easily get two more so that is no problem (yes, it does help to work part-time at a dive shop doing air fills! :birthday:)

Will let you know as soon as check is in the mail ...

I am going to look into what dates are available for September. So if you want to dive the rigs and this trip gets filled up, you can still go next month.

As it turns out, I will not be going on this trip. Victoria will be leading this trip in my place. If I can get a date for September, I will lead the next one. I am leaving you all in very capable hands, and will be in communication with the boat operator and Victoria to make sure the transition goes smoothly.

Ms Punk you will be missed Big Time ! :cheerleader:

I might be going out on a limb here but did you take a bullet for the Team so another diver could go?
or was it the 6am departure :D

Your the Best SP

I also think that SD and diving in the Gulf is going to be very Popular so we probably need to charter bigger boats for all us scuba kids :cool1: on the next trip.

see you all at 6am :tears:

It was a MAJOR sacrifice! But hey, that's the kind of Punk I am. :cheerleader:

The boat captain will be able to tell us his availability for Sept. after he gets next months schedule for the Fling. I tried to find a larger boat, but the one I found wanted $210.00 plus tax plus tip. Total that up and it's close to $300.00. For that a little more we could go to the Flower Gardens.

Hey SP, sorry to see you will not make it, as Bubski said, you will be missed. :tears: I figured that, since you already made such a trip out there earlier this year, you took yourself off so that someone else could go.

Once again, thanks so much for doing all the legwork in putting this together! :cheerleader:

For everyone who is going, I am looking forward to it! :cool1:

Actually, Victoria and I agreed to share in leading the rig trips, and the timing just worked out better for her to do this one and for me to do the next one. Some of my equipment is at the dive shop undergoing some repairs and maintenance and I'm not sure if I'm going to get it back in time for the trip.
