Hey Everybody!

Since this event is this coming weekend, if you're paying by check, you can just give it to OTWdiver, aka Bill, and he will send them on to Dallas for you! How easy is that??

However, please keep telling us who is attending so OTW can plan for the charter and plan for food too!

Thanks in advance!

Kim

:P :fish2: :fish2: I'm glad you brought that up...I was going to ask if I could just give it to Bill....I only sent enough for one dive and then changed my mind to include the second...sometimes even guys have blonde moments! :fish2: BTW I'm bringing one guest and two tadpoles for the cookout/camping

Excellent!

I imagine a great time will be had by all!

Hi everyone. :cool1: The new deck is coming together nicely. I hope to have a few friends show up for this party. Let others that haven’t seen a flier or found this post know to come and join us. It would be a shame to have a party and have others miss out. Pray for a little rain before the weekend to help this bon fire be a safe one. It is going to burn for to days my prediction. :cheerleader:

Ok, change of plans as directed by my corporate office in London Uk. Seems the limeys dont care much for diving at the lake and have directed me to do inventory this Saturday. Doesnt seem like they care too much for planning either. Guess it has something to do with the revolution. Anyway I'm not going to be able to make the diving or cookout. Was hoping to meet everyone and locate some new dive buddies. Hope everyone has a good time and Bill doesnt burn everything.

Hope to meet all at a later date or trip.

Rocky

Hello,

I will be camping at Jocassee RV park this weekend and plan to be at the happy hour and cookout Saturday. Sounds like a lot of fun. Can't wait to see the campfire!

I will not be able to dive Saturday but may want to do the shore dive Sunday.

Look forward to seeing you all!

:) to SD KAT!!

Wishing you great diving on Saturday. Since not all of us can make it there :) :fish: it would be fabulous if you posted an intro in our New to SingleDivers.com Forum so our other members can get to know you and give you a proper SD welcome!

Welcome Katgirl

The new Deck is ready for the festivities. The rain came last night and the bon fire is even bigger today. Thanks to all of the scrap wood from the deck. Thanks to ncdiver43 for all the help with the deck. You were right about the recommendations you made on where to build it. Now they will come. Tonight we hope. So our first event is here and the diving and weather conditions are great :-D . Hope to see a big turnout our new members tonight and plan our next dive of the month. Requests are now being accepted for the next event.

Hi Everybody,
I was just too tired to post yesterday. I am still not a 100% today. Had a great time. Burned off 6 AL 100's and 2 AL 80's. It was really nice to have a hot meal waiting for me minutes from the lake. I am really looking forward to the next event. Bill has a great place. The deck sits in the edge of the woods and is very cozy. His boat is very spacious and has a nice canopy over the top.

Met some really great folks and looking forward to diving with them again.

I think one of the things that I love about Jocassee is that the lake can challenge every diver regardless of skill. Depths range from shallow to very deep within a short range so even diving off the same boat every can find their comfort zone.

Thanks for letting us camp out around the fire. It was nice to not have a long drive home after the dive and get an early start the next day.
