READY CUBA WK 2 2019 Trip Inputs & Ongoing Hika/Forums Issues... CUBA WK 2 2019

 NOTE: Both weeks should be set up suing the same dates and info.

After speaking to Aggressor if we want to take adv of some tremendous deals we need to OPEN this trip up BEFORE you return from CO.  This one is super easy.... there is only 1 sku with no payment option and NOTHING ELSE. Just one sku and some info and a different sku label.

Please set up the (1) sku for this trip as follows:

SKU = Deluxe D/O (See comments box) $1

Total spots = 12 per trip

In the details box we write the following:

All money must be paid to Oceans for Youth (you must follow all directions supplied to ensure full compliance in this unique Cuba People to People program for everything to be legal.)

SingleDivers.com is charging $1 which will be refunded after the trip to facilitate sign ups. We have negotiated EXTREMELY LUCRATIVE EARLY BOOKING DISCOUNTS/REBATES. For this trip only our customary "early booking discounts" will be paid via a post trip rebate in order to be in compliance with the "People to People Program". Because of the way the program works the sooner you sign up the better the discount the boat will give us.  They have made long term commitments for filling these trips that they pass along to end users IF you sign up EARLY. Pam when you get a chance can you tell me if Norm and William are ACTUALLY signed up in the booking system for Cuba? The payment portal is showing $0 vs the $1 that others who have signed up are showing.

The accountant noticed this discrepancy and with me being MIA at sea with no wifi after today...I am unable to chase this down.

IF they are NOT in the booking system pls use the order admin email and let them know that they need to sign up again after you clear the DB so they can try again. If they ARE signed up see if you can figure out why they were charged $0 and not $1.

The $1 is not the issue...just why some seem to be one way and others seem to be another. Thank you! kamala

ACCTG: If Pam says the sign ups are legitimate then enter them as $0 and make a note on the invoice that the system did not chg them $1 live everyone else.

I believe they are in the booking system correctly:

Barbara - Order #2216 & #2238 – She has 2 because she signed up for Week 1 & 2.  Additionally, she shows up on the Trip Roster for Week 1 & Week 2

Norman - Order # 2237 - Shows up on the Trip Roster for Week 2

William - Order  #2236 - Shows up on the Trip Roster for Week 2

Its probably a roundoff thing with the whole cash discount issue.  If he has a record at all then he can get in to do his forms

I noticed this also this morning.  Bill and Norm both have records so all is well.  I have no explanation other than we are approaching Halloween.

They are booked in the system.... Hika says $1, but Bill and Normal seem to be the only ones who paid with "Cash" so my guess is when the system took the cash discount, it resulted in a $0.97 charge, which didn't forward to the accounting system.

yep, that is it.  I did not check if they paid cash or not until now.

I wondered when we maid it for $1 and not $103 if that might be an issue. That being said it is NOT our system but in fact Forte. I am glad we now know. I'll ltry to post the email stuff into this post so we have it all together. May ask Butch or Pam to do up a FAQ for future use should we need to do the $1 price again for the future. to note that we always need to add the 3% to keep the cash price from being under a dollar so that it will transact with Forte.
