Here is the directions for everyone in WNC and Tenn



To Lake Jocassee :From Asheville

Take I-26 east to Hwy 25, stay on Hwy 25 to the bottom of the mountain. Turn left under the bridge at Hwy 11 and go to the stop sign. Turn left and say on Hwy 11 (about 30 miles). Turn right onto Boones Breek Road(at BP Station).

Go 1/2 Mile and turn right onto Jocassee Lake Road (at Boones Creek Church).
If you would like to stop at Off The Wall Diving..go 1 mile and look for the dive flag on the right

Go 2 Miles and after you pass Hoyetts Grocery look for the Devils Fork State Park Entrance.
If you would like to go to the OFW charter boat go straight past the park office into the big parking lot..go left to the ramp

If you would like to go to the divers ramp
Turn left into the park ( at the park sign) and go approx. 2 miles. Turn right at the fork to the remote boat ramp. Go 1 mile to the dive area.

WOW!! We have a number of new members joining in to participate in this event! That is very I hope you will take a minute to post an introduction in our New to SingleDivers.com forum as Beach Bunny suggested and gave you a shortcut too!

And Beach Bunny, Jholley, and Dad 2.5 will be there too! Way

Sounds like you will have a great time helping to do something very good which is cleaning up our waterways and then get to partee on the dog as they say with good food, festivities, wieners and friends!!!

I hate to bail, but I gotta scratch my name off the list. I think I re-injured my neck (pulled muscle) yesterday and I won't be able to make the drive this weekend.

It probably wouldn't be good to dive under the influence of narcotic painkillers, either. Man, I'm so tired of pain!

Sorry to here about your injury. At the same time you are right about the pain meds.
If you want to come socialize and help a little on the boat, feel free to join as a non diver.

I hate allergies. I contemplated driving up anyway and seeing if I could maybe possibly dive but my ears are now hurting so looks like I have to take a pass. This has been a bad year for me!!! Have lots of fun for me!!!!

Dang it...hate to lose two of you...but the remaining trash picking upping partee people will have a blast!!!

Don't forget to take LOTS of pictures...we'd love to see them posted right after the event!!!
