Ok I keep looking at Dr. Bill's avatar and feel like I have seen him before. Then it hit me. He reminds me a famous star from the 70's. So I was wondering if you guys noticed it too and if you thought he looks like the same guy I think. After a couple of guesses, I will tell you who I thought.

PS DR B, feel free to chime in. Do people often tell you that you look like someone famous? By the way a group from Greenville SC just got back from diving in the kelp with you. Heard you were very helpful to Kristie in with her critter ID's

I've been told by several people that I remind them of Meryl Streep. OTWDiver Bill USED to look just like the knight in Indiana Jones who said, "You chose . . . poorly." This was when he had a beard and a hood on :birthday:

I can see that.

In an odd sort of way I think he looks like a Clint Eastwood character.

When the bad guy chose the wrong cup, the knight looked at him and said "You chose poorly." Then the ages and explodes.

Well, if you've dove with him, his equipment, and his old wetsuit you could describe it as The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly. And I did buy his DVDs with a Fistful of Dollars!

I remember him making the statement after the guy died. If he'd said something before he died, he could've avoided drinking from the wrong cup. Gotta check it out tonight.

You know what? You are probably right. Not sure if he told it to the guy right after he drank the cup - and before he exploded - or told someone else after the guy died. But - you are probably right! I don't know for sure if I have that one at home, so you'll have to look at it and let me know. Thanks! :teeth:
