This is a hilarious thread. I like the occasional personal ad. Perhaps we can get some statistics and personal statements from the ladies as well, in addition to the jabs that is.

Not to change the subject but (this line always precedes a change of subject), how many of you out there have actually dated another diver? I am so curious to know what it would be like to date someone who shares the same passion for activity that I do. It seems that most girls I've ever dated always are at home wondering if I'm going to kill myself while I'm out adventuring and having fun. The compatible girls I meet while out adventuring have always turned into great friends. I wonder how the combination of the two goes?

I was diving in Malaysia a few weeks ago and met a couple who were married and had met each other by being randomly buddied up on a diveboat, how cool is THAT!? :cool2:

i dated a diver once. it's something that i'd like to do again. always having a dive buddy, knowing each other so well that we understood each other underwater, not stressing if you wanted to call a dive - if you were tired, didn't feel right, weren't comfortable - because there would always be another one, AND it was wonderful having someone who didn't complain about my excessive obsession with buying new toys and traveling. the only downside...we always talked about diving, and i'm afraid the relationship centered around diving. once that ended (friction underwater), the relationship ended.
