Sitting here at work...bored....its Friday....a thought came to me.

One of the mysteries of the universe....you GUYS know what I am talking about too.

Question>>>> Why do women buy and wear blouses that are low cut in the front and show a lot of cleavage ....then grab and close it up and look upset when mens eyes stray that direction???

Every woman I have ever asked this question himmss and haassss and looks nervous.....and still wears quite revealing blouses.

Inquiring minds want to know.

I think secretly they love the attention, but still have modest feelings. But I know I am wrong about this because I am a guy! :teeth:

Rich,

Perhaps it's the WAY the guys look. If a guy discreetly checks us out, it's flattering. If he drools like a dog and pants, it's a turn-off.

Sometimes, it's not the MESSAGE, it's the DELIVERY.

Just my opinion....

And, believe it or not....I agree. But I happen to mean the casual glance...not the....ARE THOSE REAL????? looks. And, yes...panting and drooling is not cool.
But guys love it done for them....we are so easy!!!

I guess it is just one of those unexplainable events.

Hi Rich,

More thoughts on this... (I'm bored at work, too!)

I think perhaps some women wear whatever is in fashion, even if the clothes are more revealing that they are comfortable wearing. The latest looks tend to show a lot of skin, and it may be that these women can't find more modest clothing.

For example, my sister bought some jeans for her 7-year old grand-daughter, not realizing they were low-riders. I think it's improper for clothes manufacturers to be making low-riders/hip huggers for kids that young. What message are we sending them? They don't need to look sexy at that age.

I've been seeing articles on line lately saying that younger girls are sick of the "Brittany Spears" looking clothes. There was one girl who wrote to Ambercrombe and Fitch, asking them to make more modest clothes.

So perhaps this is also a factor.

I agree with Laura also, What do we know, were guys :teeth:  :teeth:  :teeth:

Guys tend to be more visually-oriented, and visually stimulated, so it's only natural that they will look. It's that all important way they approach that is critical.
:teeth:

Alikat - be careful what you wish for, girlfriend. I've got more than I know what to do with, and I often get unwanted attention and rude comments. I have had complete strangers ask me "are they real?" and "what size are they?" and believe me, I do not find it enjoyable. :teeth: Not to mention that they make me really bouyant and I have to wear tons of lead when I dive!!! :D

First, If a man is gawking and drooling..he should be slapped!
On the other hand, women should be able to take the looking if she is to wear something revealing...it's kinda the point. But men...no drooling!!!! That's just rude. In fact, my mom and I were walking the seawall in Galveston this past weekend when some guy looked me up and down right in front of his wife :teeth: My mom turned and told him to stop staring at her daughter. Funny but embarrasing...but the guy deserved it...some men...geez!

Hi SH,

Very well said. And I'm glad your mom is protective of you that way. It's not a good idea to mess with the cubs when the lioness is around! Everybody knows that!!

tell your mom I said "You go girl" ....er...I mean "you go ma'am"

Take care
