Well, I'm in. I will get my check in the mail this week.

I will need to work on air, because I will be staying in Europe for a couple weeks after the trip. Also, because I have to be in Germany for my brother's wedding, my air to and from Europe was going to be covered by my parents. I'll have to see what kind of deal I can work out with them. Maybe they'll chip in a little as a graduation present.

I guess I would need to fly from Houston via Germany (I think Frankfurt would be the best airport) to Cairo. That way I could fly back to Germany, stay a few weeks, and then back to Houston. That way I would be dealing with all round trip tickets.

I can't wait for the trip. It sounds awesome! Great job Kamala!!

I am looking for air for ASDMike from Frankfurt so you might be able to use that as well for comparison purposes. So you want Houston to Cairo to Frankfurt to Houston? Or do you need another routing?

It looks like I could do a direct flight from Houston to Frankfurt and then Frankfurt to Cairo, two round trips for around $1100. I would arrive in Cairo in the evening of the 18th. I'm not sure on my departure date from Frankfurt, I still have to work out that portion of my trip.

Could you post the times of the flights from NY to Cairo and Cairo to NY? This way I can work on putting together something similar to your schedule.

Great! Also let our agent quote for you so that your entire ticket is visible to the carrier for the NY/Cario segments. It may be a tad more but it will be easier should you encounter any problems.

As far as the flight goes.... I'd like to purchase the London/Cairo/London 14 day package and then if you would do a quote for air from Salt Lake City to London Departing on the 17th but staying in London for a couple extra days departing Sunday June 3rd. Preferably an afternoon flight - I would like to spend as much time as possible in London - just need to make it to SLC sometime the night of the 3rd.

1. Flight is on EgyptAir from John F. Kennedy International Airport -
Terminal 4.

2. Departure is at 6:30pm ET - Return is at 3:40pm ET

3. I suggest we book the client from the DC area from IAD or DCA which
ever EgyptAir is able to confirm - the add-on cost is $185.00

4. The rate for land pkg only: LAND PKG ONLY (NO AIR IN EGYPT OR
INTERNATIONAL)

Double $3227
Single Supplement $ 700 for hotels (checking a s/o price for the liveaboard)


If domestic air within Egypt is required please add $ 385.00 to the above
land only cost.


5. Frankfurt: This client will have to arrive 1 night earlier than the
US group as EgyptAir from Frankfurt departs at 3:10pm and arrives into Cairo
at 7:30pm. (Otherwise you will arrive on the 18th at 11:00am, and the client would miss
half the day with the group.) The rate for this participant is:
Double$3450.00 including 1 extra night, private transfers on arrival and
departure. (THIS RATE INCLUDES DOMESTIC AIR WITHIN EGYPT)

FRANKFURT FLIGHT SCHEDULE: MAY 17 FRA/CAI MS # 786 3:10PM/7:30PM

MAY 31 CAI/FRA MS #785 9:30AM/ 2:10PM

If you do not mind arriving a bit late you can get the price less the hotel stay which is $ TBD
