Well most of the girls know as they are part of the madness...several of the men have been tapped to help assist and the rest will be part (unwittingly) or otherwise of the re-enactment of Bill Routh and Kamala Shadduck's dry wedding September 14th underwater in the Philippines on our trip.
We have ScubaTooth taking pictures and video of the event. Liz is doing flowers and behind the scenes organization. Bill is bringing the hydrophone so we can 'hear the ceremony' underwater and I still need to find a dress! And no it won't be the original one...too heavy and well too sentimental!
In any event we do have a few areas where we need some additional help...
1. Here is the message I got from the resort regarding a boom box:
Hi Kamala,
Great to hear you are getting married again under water! What excitement
I am afraid we don't have a boom box that you can use - our boats don't play music as the are small and can get quite wet. If you want to bring your own boom box we should be able to keep it dry for the duration of the ceremony.
Let me know if there is anything else we can do to help.
Best regards,
Richard.
So we need a boombox or cd player or some playing device that we can also record on too if possible.
2. I may need a few more volunteers...do let me know if you are game!

Kamala,
Depending upon what day you will be doing your wedding UW.... I suggest that you buy a cheap "boombox" while you are in PG. There would be someone at the resort who for a small "tip" would no doubt be happy to run into town and get one for you, or someone might lend one if you promised to replace it if it got wet. Filipinos love music, so I would expect this would actually be the easiest. Then you could "donate" it to your adopted school, and not have to haul it around the world.

I actually was thinking along those lines but of bringing one from the states...do you think it would be easier to get it on island? That would be really cool!

PG is a big town. I would email the resort (and yes, I know you get only "sort of" an answer from them, but even though they speak English, it is not their first language) and ask where you could buy one in PG town. I know you can get in Manila, but, I believe your flights inbound are arriving at a time I would be sleeping in my bed!
2 more cents.... Dumagette and Negros have a rather low economy... your school supplies would really be needed there, if your luggage will bear the load on your domestic travels.
