There are a ton of wrecks along the northern shore of Lake Ontario and all along the St Lawrence. It would be easy to make a week-long trip of this area starting east and moving west to the haunted city of Brockville which boasts its local wreck diving?? This is also a tremendous city for restaurants and entertainment. The trip could also be planned to coincide with any of their many summer festivals. BluesFest is tremendous!!

Is there a firm date for the Bahamas Explorer Venture liveaboard or Trip title info ??

Are you talking about a firm date for Jan? If so I'm checking on the availability now! -ww

Just looking at some of trip posts @ 1500-1600$ with airfare for '07. Maybe this was the Saba-Sxm trip that just returned. If your working on something for Jan '08 liveaboard in Carribean at this price range with air thats a great deal!!!

Yes it would be cool but a trip would run 4-5k easily. :( And the diving is cold... :-D

I'd consider it, though....a South Africa Great White trip has always been something I've wanted to do. Plus, now you can marry that up with a land-based safari and have a pretty neat trip.

Boa Tarde!!

I worked with a Brasillian group on one of my projects last year - great people!

They told me FDN is THE place to go and these are not divers either. It seems that there's alot of diving in Brasil but not many divers. Sounds like a prestine environment to me :-D I know people in Rio and in Sao Paulo, I'm sure we could put up quite a dive trip there :cool2:

Me, too. They have beautiful waterfalls and white water rapid rafting too.

I also wanted to add Costa Rica and the Galapagos but think we should wait until 2009 or later for these two destinations. The last El Nino weather pattern killed half to penguin population and also affected other wildlife and fish and I'm not sure how long it'll take them to recover.

You crack me up...you should consider the Great White trip in Oct 2007!

1. Airfare $400 vs. $2500
2. Water temps MUCH warmer
3. Luxurious liveaboard vs daily boat operation

check here for more reasons!
