I'm gonna try to make it, too -- I'll have to drive up from Columbia after leaving work a little early. I'm looking forward to meeting you, Kamala!

Kamala, I'm looking at the weather in Texas right now. Do you anticipate getting iced in and not making it to Greenville tomorrow night? Sure hope not!

Kamala, I'm looking at the weather in Texas right now. Do you anticipate getting iced in and not making it to Greenville tomorrow night? Sure hope not!


Actually came in a day early for a conference...so I made it today before too many flights were cancelled out of DFW. However my bags have not arrived yet. Hopefully they were on the 4:30 that arrived at 5:30 or they will be on the 10:40pm if it makes it!

Otherwise you'll see a bit of the 'wench' part come out in me if I have no clothes and stuff! :)

However my fear is that the cold nasty weather is moving this way so I hope it doesn't mess up the roads for people driving to the HH...especially someone very special coming in all the way from Columbia! :)

I don't think I have anything to worry about here in Columbia - I'll keep an eye on Greenville. I would expect that I'd make it up there OK - may get "snowed" in and can't get back to work on Friday . . . now that would be a real shame, wouldn't it? I'd have to spend some more time with my granddaughters :)
