Well it sounds like this is going to be a blast. Put me down to be there. I am still a little unclear of the exact dates but I will make the airline reservations for the dates that Walter stated and hope that it is correct. As for diving. I will have my AOW by then and also have several deep dives recorded. I do have many 80 and 90 foot dives already but none deeper. I wont have my nitrox at that time so I am unsure of what to do in that regard. If anyone has a suggestion let me know.

I think that sounds like a good plan. 19th - 24th. Continental has the round trip for 50,000 frequent flier miles. Im going to book it into Ft Lauderdale. Just need to know the sleeping arrangements now.

Well its rather painless to become a nitrox diver. If there is a TDI agency near you all you need to do is class work(read no dives). If it's PADI two dives are required in addition to class work. Maybe you could do one of them as part of your AOW and then arrange the other with your dive shop right after the AOW class. This is of course assuming that your LDS has nitrox available.

Well, it looks like this thread was split and moved to a different location.

My bad- I split this part off a month agao from the poll- it was getting to unwieldy & unclear as it was. THIS is for our details & sign ups..... :teeth:

scoobiediver Consider yourself added!!! The diving days are August 20th-23rd following Walter's itenerary of dives: Dive Plan

I know some out of towners are planning to fly in on the 19th & leave on the 24th or 25th, so that might be what you want to do.

I am going to Cabo on the 22nd of July and that is when I will be testing out on AOW. There is no nitrox there so I was unable to get that class in. I know that my lds has Nitrox available but not sure when I would get my two dives in. I will check, Thanks for the advice China Cat[QUOTE]
