Women want what other women want

Its something I can't understand.
I want someone who is single.. aka NOT ATTACHED to another.
Like Dr. B ~ If you're with someone else ~ single, married, dating etc....
You are not available to me for anything more than a friendship.
Reminds me of those people who pursue someone who has clearly stated they have no interest in the other.
Why would you want to be with someone who doesn't want to be with you?
Formerly known as gis_gal and name tattoo'd for a small bribe!

I guess we all have an optimistic side that assumes sooner or later they'll "wise up!"

or you need to have a man to get a manHhhhhhmmmmmmmm. So, then, you need to HAVE a woman to GET a woman. Isn't that a viscious cycle?!
crap!!
no wonder I don't have an SO!
interestingly enough, when I was playing indoor soccer, we would all get together on weekends to go dancing, etc...I remember sitting at our table one night, with a married man next to me (he had a wedding ring on too); woman after woman stopped to ask him to dance and his wife was sitting right next to him! The other guys at the table were all single, by the way
anyway, after the 500 millionth time he got hit on, I asked him if those women just didn't see his ring? And I proceeded to tell him that he was off-limits in my book since he was married, whether I knew his wife or not. He told me that I had a very refreshing attitude and that most women seemed to see his wedding ring as a challenge to get past.
I think this is a sad commentary on our society in general!

Conversely, I have been advised in the past that as a single man I should get a wedding band and wear it when I go out on the town--that this was almost a guaranteed way to meet interested women. Apparently, there are a significant number of women out there that are looking for no-strings fun and games, and a married man fulfills two requirements: that they are desired by the opposite sex, and that they are unlikely to be a pursuing pest looking for a relationship.

I think it might be that someone else approved of you and therefore, you are more worthy of time and attention
whereas, if you don't have a ring or you don't have someone on your arm, then you lose the "approved" rating!

Geez, had I known, Walter, I'd have given you a smooch in Bonaire!
No tongue, though. At least not on the first date....
Well, come to Florida, Jamie. I'm about to hit 500 since Bonaire.
