I can't stand those guys who do 7zillion curls, bench presses etc and never do legs. Any real athelete has strong legs! Big arms and skinny legs is the male equivalent of fake boobs.

Hmmm... interesting analogy. I see just a glimmer of logic, but can't begin to say I understand.

From across the room I'll notice an attractive lady, and then look closer to see that she's trim from top to bottom. I like natural beauty, so I'm attracted to women that keep in good shape.

From there it's all about her smile!

When I'm looking at a woman from across the room that usually means I'm in a nightclub...Honestly the first thing I look at is what she is drinking. I was in the nightclub industry for over 10 years, until I decided to get a real job....LOL.....And in my opinion you can tell a lot about a person from what they drink....After that, I would have to say eye's

Well, I've got German tree stumps for legs!

I look to see HOW MUCH she's drinking. No, I don't go for the ones that have rendered themselves helpless and unable to make an informed decision. I go for the ones who, like me, are drinking club soda and therefore possibly hydrating for a day of diving in the morning.

Know what you mean.

If a woman is drinking a martini, I shy away... too trendy and not independent minded enough for me. Last time I drank a martini was back in Sept., 1965, when my father was trying to "teach" me how to drink the night before I left for college. Drank him under the table.

If a woman is drinking sake, she may be Japanese and of greater potential interest.

If a woman is drinking white wine instead of red, she's not into health.

And so on...

I can truthfully say that what a person is drinking has never influenced me. How MUCH they are drinking might get my attention - especially if my car is parked anywhere near theirs. The only time I watched what someone drank was when I was a bartender and my tip jar depended on how much attention I gave them.

I have never really given much thougth to what I am saying by my drink.
Some nights its a Vodka/cranberry other nights its a beer.
Have been known to also drink wine.
I wonder what it means when you refuse to drink well drinks. :diver:

Need more insight into the message my drinks are sending.

Not necessarily - she may also be a traditionalist. It all depends on what kind of martini she is drinking. Trust me, there is nothing trendy about a gin martini, straight up, dry, with olives. It also happens to be one of my favorite drinks.

Other favorites include good red wine (generally my first choice since it doesn't kick me in the butt the same way hard alcohol can), gin and tonic and good scotch on the rocks.

I agree with you cmt489. It really depends on the type of martini.....Didn't mean to hijack the post....I just try to see if the woman is't doing straight Jack or Tequilla all night.....they just tend to be a little on the wild side. And I'm gettin to old for that....LOL.

I can tell a lot more about a person by asking which Beatle is their favorite than I can by what they drink. Quantity of drink can be a good clue, too, but if someone is at a party or on a vacation or celebrating something great, it is kind of unfair to judge too much on what and how much someone drinks....to me, at least.

Hmmm... and what of those of us who hate the Beatles, period?

Beatles vs Stones vs Pink Floyd? Which Rolling Stone do you like the best? Roger Waters or David Gilmour? There are numerous spin-offs to this, depending on music genre.

A nice frou-frou martini, too, like a Sour Apple Martini, or Fresh Strawberry martini. Any one who chooses to judge me for drinking one of those can be damned! Besides, I'm not expecting anyone to pay for or after it except myself!
