Dear Moderator:

I know there is no way you could know but we really hate being put into the Central/Midwest region in anything. :P

So do you consider yourselves to be on the West Coast or East Coast? :P

Clearly not East Coast or West Coast. We like just West the best. It most describes our mentality!!!!

Or as Bob says Rocky Mountain region.

I'm in Fort Collins and I'd be up for a Colorado HH in Denver or wherever.

I'd say we are the Rocky Mountain Region, it's what we are famous for.

Since I don't live in the city, is there a good place for a HH with decent pupu and good atmosphere? Maybe we can get one started this spring.

Agree. People from Colorado tend to be true to the state/region. A Rocky Mountain Region section would be great. West Coast=nutjobs, and Central=flatlanders. There's just something special about the Rockies.

Some of us "nutjobs" tend to disagree...

I'm up for an event. In fact, if there is enough interest, I won a free party at the Fox&The Hound that I would be willing to donate for the event for up to 20 people..

You have won a free party for up to 20 from Fox & Hound in Westminster. Includes 50 Grand Champion Wings, Chips and Salsa, 2 thin crust pizzas and 1 complimentary pool table for 2 hours!

Its at 120th and Sheridan.

I also have contacts at Lodos downtown or Highlands Ranch locations if we wanted to do one of those, but for me Highlands Ranch is a tough happy hour to make..

And on the blue hole, I did my AOW there in May. Its a nice dive, but definitely a chilly one..of course the local diving around here is very similar. I was thinking of going back there in September to get my deep/dry suit certs.

Of course, if you want warmer, there is always the Homestead Crater, where I did my open water dives!
Diving in a hot tub..Makes for an interesting day in that you can ski park city and dive one of the warmest dives in North America..

I did Homestead Crater once to test out some camera equipment before a big trip. I felt like I was in a giant petrie dish. I had to shower immediately on exit. Gave me the creeps!!!!

As for a HH. I live too far away from the Front Range to organize anything. Besides I have to many irons in the fire right now anyway. But of the timing os right I can try to attend.

I'm up for a HH, but I'm not due back home to Colorado till about end of July.....working on my tan and dives till then.

As far as where the RM region should be placed, how about Southwest or Southcentral section?
