They say that every man's dream is more women than men on a dive trip...well let's find out. Is it REALLY a dream for men to have more women than men??? They always claim it is. Can they act upon that dream? Will they act upon that dream...or is it merely a fantasy that they love to talk about but don't do much about? Inquiring

And no this is not a theoretical question...it is a true scenario...we have several trips with MORE WOMEN THAN MEN on them! Nope we don't mean by one or two...we are talking by a factor of 2x times the number of men!

the reason is that I'm not on the trip.
IF I was on the trip, there would be only 1 woman.

Since your profile doesn't indicate your gender, it's hard to understand the meaning of that post. If you are female, I assume it means you are the uber-female. If male, I assume it means you'd scare all the other woman away from the trip!

With a 3:1 ratio on the Palau trip - I am not complaining - just do not expect a report on surface interval activities.

Small island rules rule - and what goes on in Palau, stays in Palau. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

No aquarium, no tank in a marine land, however spacious it may be, can begin to duplicate the conditions of the sea. And no dolphin who inhabits one of those aquariums or one of those marine lands can be considered normal.

The Romans had a rule that a man could do whatever he wished after crossing three rivers - how would anyone every know. But that was before digital cameras and the Internet.

I've never known of a dive trip with more women than men. Some of this could come from the Cruise Boat appeal, where women traveling alone did not feel as uncomfortable or endangered as they did on other travels without men - but much has that has changed, on both sides. Women are generally asserting more, while cruise boats are not as safe as once thought.

I do wonder if some men do feel....I don't know?

Yeah I know: I've been branded a non-group person - doesn't play well with others. I am so upset. Let me know if you want to have some fun, without the drama - I'm good for that.

Our dive boat went out last weekend with a ration of 7:4 female: male. Definitely a fun trip even though two of the females were teenagers (but quite fun young ladies... they were trying to set me up with their Mom).

It wasn't just the sight of all the lovelies suiting up to dive, the atmosphere on the boat had a different flavor to it thanks to the dominance by the ladies. I thought it was quite nice.

Must have a sense of humor to view my web site!
