I said I could do it. I practiced. I worried. I practiced some more. I even cried about it at night. Tonight in the first 15 minutes of class, I did it. I completed the last skill required for my Divemaster certification. No fan fare, no bells and whistles. No big celebration at State Park like the other Divemasters that were in my class. Just a nice, quiet finish - perfect for me.

The paperwork is done, the checks are written.

Tonight I am a Divemaster, just waiting for my number.

This weekend I am officially a DM for the shop's OW checkout dives at Terrell.

I have so much more to learn.

What would Patton do...? Posted Image

Yeah I know: I've been branded a non-group person - doesn't play well with others. I am so upset. Posted Image Let me know if you want to have some fun, without the drama - I'm good for that.

Congratulation, Great Job.

Do yourself a favor and get your Number and INSURANCE before you start working. I know as an instructor you can't teach classes until you get your paperwork back from PADI. I would need to look up standards on a DM assisting a class before paperwork has come back.
