To be honest, I forgot about posting it here. I can say that she celebrated it with a 62 minute dive on Day Island Wall and not working.
As for coming out to dive, I would recommend the winter because it can be miserable putting on your drysuit in the heat. All of the big festivals are going on right now. The weather for the PNW HH dive was much better for diving.

What are bottom temps this time of year? I don't usually go dry till Oct or Nov. Depends on Air temps. I'll go dry if temps are gonna be 60 and below.
My bottom temps lately have been around 52-54. Surface temps have varied between 56-62 and a balmy 66, 68 at Hood Canal. Dry is good all year. It just sucks to get suited up on a hot day.

Glad you had a great birthday, Colleen! How's that birthday gift from the girl child working out, BTW?

WW ~ So far I am enjoying being a year older. I am keeping my fingers crossed that it will continue to be a nice year.
Tony ~ Thanks again for the great B-day dive. Diving with you is always a pleasure.
I think I have seen that pic before. Lovely PNW dive day.
Pir8 ~ Water temps don't change much. I think the warmest I have ever seen it was about 56 or so.
Drysuit season is year round. Its cold at 100' Vis is just better in the winter.
Boat diving or shore diving its all good.
Annasea ~ I get to see the daughter in a few days. We are planning on heading your way and spending a few days just hanging out.
