May could be considered "June'ish"... Thanks... That would work nicely.June of 08 is our Galapagos trip. That is a big trip so unless it is cancelled due to the issues in Ecuador...June would not work for another big trip. May is best for Bonaire...June is high season...May is not.

And you will see me because after my last lesson I will follow my instincts and not keep going into the abyss at olympic speed hoping there is really something in that direction.

I have been to Bonaire several times, my trip at the end of this month is my 5th. I have never had a flight issue but here is what I do.
I would NEVER fly to Bonaire via PR. Just don't do it. I also do not have an itinerary that includes a connection in the States. I fly out of Atlanta On Air Jamaica and have never had a problem. For me it means laying over one night in Atlanta but that is not a big deal when you figure the lowered stress level of not missing flights. The Houston red eye direct is also a good choice, however I choose not to fly red eye because you really lose a day of diving. The Atlanta AJ flight gets you in at 2:30 on Saturday.
Just some things to think about.
