Thanks, and you got it!
Great to have you on the trip! I saw your payment has arrived so will do a quick payment update! We only have a few spots left...
And yes we´ll teach you how to find teeth! No other operator does that...way cool!

Unless the last three spots fill, I'll bet you'll be able to dive Saturday and Sunday!I'd love to go along, but right now it looks like there's no way to get out of working on the 22nd.

I have a question - I was talking to a friend in the Carolinas and he mentioned a license to collect fossils, or maybe it was just artifacts in S.C. Do we need to apply for any license in order to keep teeth, etc?

Cool! I have to admit...I'm terrified of these dives! Excited, too, but mostly terrified that I'm going to get lost and swept into Charleston Harbor or something. I'm crossing my 50th dive during this trip to so maybe I can have a special someone buddy up with me for it

Come on everyone, fill up these boats!
Also, can we talk equipment? I've not dived in these conditions before....so besides the obvious scuba basics, I have:
- a primary light (C8 LED) - Good...this is one of those times were BIGGER LIGHT or MORE LIGHT IS BETTER!!!
- backup light (oxycheq backup) - Check!
- 3mm full wetsuit - Should be MORE than adequate!
Do we need:
- SMB/safety sausage - yes but the boat will supply one at no charge if you want to use those and they are specially rigged for this environment. He only asks that if you damage or lose it that you replace it! Having used mine and the boat's...I now prefer the boats!
- tank marker....or doesn't it do much good? - SURE! I think that could help find your buddy if you got separated.
- knife - Not needed but you are always welcome to bring one!
- alligator repellent?? - Not needed...they do not like 'RUSHING WATER' so are rarely near us.
Also I read that Bill was going to try to make the river picks...should we pack a screwdriver or something else to dig in? - Bill's friend has made some very nice ones up...(Bill has been busy building a dive shop so will have them for next year if we do this trip). If you buy the high quality brass ones with a very long pick...(AGAIN BIGGER/LONGER IS BETTER) they are $30. If you want to DIY...Do It Yourself...get an 8in long Philips head screwdriver and drill a hole in the handle to attach a lanyard (THIS IS CRITICAL AS YOU WILL LOSE IT WITHOUT A LANYARD!)
Now to find several more people to join us on this really cool trip. Maybe we won't run them anymore if people are not interested.
What else??
