"2. Can you please estimate the airport departure taxes, roundtrip?"

I am going to Ambergris Caye on Friday. The airport departure tax is $35 US. I will do all the hard work, you know, checking out the restaurants and watering holes, and let you all know how it is. That is, if there is no hurricane this weekend!

Gerry

Also, if you are using Tropic Air for the transfer from Belize City to San Pedro, this is their baggage policy.....

"BAGGAGE LIMITS
Baggage is limited to two pieces per person not to exceed 70 lbs( 35lbs each). Due to equipment limitations, carry-ons may have to be checked. Extra charges will apply to baggage larger than 78 inches dimensionally or larger than 14.5 X 27.5 inches in any one dimension.

Thanks/Jesus/Reservations.

I think I remember the Wench saying there was shore diving but I'm not sure. Can anyone who has been there, shed some light on this for us?

By the way...did anyone see the article in this months Scuba Diving Magazine? There is a big article on the Top 10 Reasons You'll Love Belize!!

Can we get extra tanks for shore diving if available? Or do they need to be preordered?

I will send an email to Peter and ask the question. So far I'm not having much luck getting my questions answered. We may need to wait for the Wench to get back on Saturday to get some answers.

Ok, the only thing holding me back right now is vacation. If I get word that I have off, then I will send in my money, for the short trip, 8-13. Hope to post my particulars tomorrow

As of right now we have 6 people signed up for the long trip and 3 for the short. One of the people on the long trip is a S/O.
